About the PhD Programme

The Fondazione Centro Euro-Mediterraneo sui Cambiamenti Climatici (CMCC) is currently hosting 5 researchers through the Marie SkÅ‚odowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowships. Their research projects address complex and multidisciplinary challenges dealing with climate change and sustainable development. MSCA-PF European Fellowships support experienced researchers for a full time period between 12 and 24 months. CMCC research activities are distributed among eleven research divisions that share different knowledge and skills in the field of climate science.

Eligibility

Fellowships are open to researchers meeting the following criteria:

  • Candidates must have a doctoral degree and no more than eight years of full-time equivalent research experience, measured from the date of the award of the (first) doctoral degree;
  • Eligible researchers can be of any nationality and must not have resided or carried out their main activity in Italy for more than 12 months over the last 3 years prior to the call deadline (13/09/2023).

Eligible candidates are invited to submit:

  1. A detailed curriculum vitae, including list of publications;
  2. One-page abstract of the MSCA research proposal you would like to develop at CMCC (in this section, please specify your research interest fitting with CMCC divisions activities and indicate one or more CMCC Division(s) you would be interested in working with). The candidates will be selected by mid-June 2023 and the MSCA-PF proposal must be submitted to the European Commission by September 13th, 2023 – h. 17.00 CET.
