Do you want to learn more about innovative solutions for environmental challenges? Then apply to attend the European Green Capital Lahti Summer School 2021 to be organized online on 7-18 June 2021.
About the Summer School
Lahti is the European Green Capital 2021. All academic bodies operating in Lahti are keen to promote this year by putting together an International Summer School. The Summer School is a cooperation of the LAB University of Applied Sciences, LUT University and University of Helsinki and Lahti University Campus.
Attending, you can experience a multidisciplinary and international summer school which focuses to the themes related to European Green Capital year. The online presentations and discussion during the weeks will take place in authentic location in Lahti and surroundings. This way you can experience the environment and nature like locals without physically being here. The four themes are: carbon-neutral life, circular economy, citizen participation and nature and water.
Eligibility
The International Summer School is aimed for both Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students interested in sustainable urban environments with either environmental, technical, business, design or social and health care background. All students are welcome!
Benefits
The Summer school is free of charge, and Participants of the European Green Capital 2021 Summer School will be awarded 5 ECTS credits.
